It is so important to recognize Ageism Awareness Day. The World Health Organization's recent study documented half the world hold ageist stereotypes of older persons. How can we come together gerontologists through ASA and improve efforts to counteract this discrimination? We can make a difference by role modeling and calling out ageist behaviors everyday and work to create a society for all ages.
