This week, on September 29th, East Tennessee State University's Center for Rural Health Research and TennCare are joining forces to roll out the East Tennessee Aging Symposium!

This symposium is not just another meeting-it's a dynamic opportunity where community-based organizations get to roll up their sleeves and dive into shaping Tennessee's Multisector Plan for Aging (MPA).  And guess what? Pennsylvania is also hopping on the bandwagon! Earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the state teamed up to gather pearls of wisdom from locals on their new MPA.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Let's Get Chatty! How crucial do you think the role of community engagement is in enhancing cross-sector planning for aging? Can this be the key element to creating robust strategies to meet the diverse needs of our aging population? Share your thoughts, ideas and insights!

Click here to learn more about why every state should have an MPA.
