The State of Ohio, where I reside, launched the 2023-2026 State Plan on Aging back in October. While it shares features common to Multisector Plans for Aging, it is not one per se. This Generations Now blog post reminds us why every state should develop an MPA. Ohio has made the first step in developing a comprehensive plan that reframes how we view aging and to improve the overall health and well-being of older Ohioans. It's time for every state to provide such a comprehensive roadmap to guide the state's aging network on strategies, prompting us to rethink our approaches to policymaking, service delivery, and investment priorities!
