California On Aging 2023 Host Committee

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for volunteering to join our On Aging 2024 Host Committee. A few items:

    1. I would like to have the opportunity to meet you at On Aging 2023. I would like to meet on Wednesday, so we all have a chance to experience most of this year's conference, giving us a chance to think about some of what we thought worked and didn't work. Please hold Wednesday @ 11:30 am. I will send the location to you.
    2. We are going to have a "passing of the torch" at the On Aging 2023 from our Atlanta Host Committee to our CA Host Committee.  Can you please let me know if you would like to be on stage for about 2 minutes on Wednesday's final Keynote to accept the hand-off.
    3. I will be in San Francisco on April 13. I'd love to have a meet-up with you if possible. Can someone local offer to host us?

    Hi All -- I am unable to be with you in Atlanta.  Give my geographic challenge, I won't be able to meet or be on stage.  April 13 (Thursday) is possible in SF for a meet and greet, however I need to be back in my neck of the woods by 1:00 pm -- I live about an hour away from SF.  So, early morning would work and/or (of course) Zoom!

    Looking forward to helping in anyway I can.

    Hi Cindy -- Hmmm. I will be in Atlanta; however, my flight takes off at 2p for Houston on Wednesday. I would love to connect. Any possibility of earlier?

    Would have loved to participate here. Unfortunately, I will not be there for the Final Keynote. Duty calls out West and I will be leaving the conference by about 9:30-10A at the latest.

    I am a 4+ hour drive North of San Fran...

    Hi Cindy,

    I will be in Atlanta and able to meet on Wednesday at 11:30 am. I prefer not to go up on stage. April 13 in SF is doable if earlier in day.  I might suggest we meet at the hotel that will be the site of the 2024 conference.
