    Hello

Now in its third year the ASA Legacy Corps Buddy Program brings together longer term leaders and members in the field with new attendees to OnAging.

This year we have a larger number of new attendee buddies expressing interest and we are in need of leader buddies.

This is a valued opportunity to support new members by helping them connect with leaders, learn of the value of ASA, and begin or expand their networks.

On behalf of the Legacy Corps team, I invite you to consider being a leader buddy for this year's conference.

This year in addition to new attendee buddies, we will have undergraduate students from Hilarity for Charity Youth Movement Against Alzheimer's (YMAA) joining the Buddy groups. The students will be holding their first YMAA meeting at OnAging 2024.

We will match new buddies with leader buddies usually in groups of 3 to 4 new attendee buddies to one leader buddy.

Leader buddies are please requested to:

    •         Connect with their new member buddies online before the conference.
    •          Meet their new buddies on Monday of the OnAging 2024 conference at the Welcome to OnAging 2024 session on March 25, 2024, between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Or at another time which is good for you and the new buddies.
    •       Connect with new buddies before the general sessions. There will be reserved seating up front in the VIP section for leader and new attendee buddies.
    • Following the conference ASA will host a webinar for all leader buddies and new member buddies.

I hope you can participate in this year's buddy program. Please let me know if you are willing to participate by Thursday March 14, 2024.

Please complete a brief leader buddy application at:   Lead Buddy Sign Up (airtable.com)

Please reach out to me at brianmduke@outlook.com if you have any questions.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    All the best,

    Brian
