Bio

Brian Duke is a consultant who specializes in helping clients with strategic planning, convening and facilitating community and stakeholder engagement, developing sustainability plans, making improvements in service delivery and increasing the effectiveness of advocacy. He works with national organizations, state and local governments, the aging network, community-based organizations, health systems and long-term care providers. Previously Brian was System Director, Senior Services with Main Line Health, a hospital-based health system in suburban Philadelphia PA and created and implemented population health strategies to improve the care of older adults across the care continuum. Prior to this he served as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.

He is Chair of the ASA Legacy Corps, Co-Chair of the American Association of Caregiving Youth National Advisory Board and Co-Chair of Task Force Movement Healthcare. Task Force Movement Healthcare was developed in response to the White House Executive Order by President Biden to address the healthcare industry's need to successfully engage with transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses across the country.

Brian serves as a board member with LeadingAge PA, Penn Asian Senior Services, Generations on Line, Together for West Philadelphia and the University of Scranton Alumni Advisory Board.

He served as Treasurer of the American Society on Aging, past President of the Eastern Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society, past President of the ADvancing States Alumni Leadership Network, past Chair of the nonprofit Someone To Tell It To and served on the board of USAging.

He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. His journey in aging includes work with passionate leaders and colleagues in academic medicine, public media, philanthropy, advocacy, caregiver support, innovation, and public service. He lives in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
